Funeral for Hollis Sciallo of Santa Rosa, son of Joseph and Theresa Sciallo of Petaluma and brother of Arlen Sciallo of Novato, will be held tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. at Daniel’s Chapel of the Roses in Santa Rosa.
Sciallo died Saturday in a Santa Rosa hospital after a long illness. He was 43.
A native Santa Rosan, Sciallo lived in the Bay Area all his life. For the last seven years, he had been trust co-ordinator for the Electric Contractors Assn. of Napa, Solano and Mendocino Counties.
He was a member of the Santa Rosa Jaycees, the Sons of Italy, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Cotati.
Sciallo attended Analy High School of Sebastopol, and graduated from San Jose State College with a degree in business in 1956 following service in the armed forces.
During the Korean conflict, Sciallo served with the counter-Intelligence Corps in Japan.
In addition to his brother and parents, Sciallo is survived by his wife, Carol, of the family home at 2622 Wawona Drive in Santa Rosa, and four children – Stephen, Theresa, Joseph, and Kenneth – of the same address.
Rosary will be said tonight at 8 p.m. at Daniel’s Chapel of the Roses, 1225 Sonoma Avenue, Santa Rosa. Interment will be private. Contributions to a favorite charity are preferred.
A Death Notice in the same paper adds that his middle name was Allan.
