RAYMOND D. YOUNG
A memorial service for Raymond D. young, longtime Novato real estate broker, is scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday at the Presbyterian Church in Novato.
Mr. Young died Friday, Feb. 24, 1989, at Novato Community Hospital after a short illness. He was 71.
He was born in Los Angeles in 1918 and was raised in San Francisco.
Mr. Young served in World War II.
He was active in Marin County real estate for 35 years and founded the Novato Wednesday Breakfast Tour meetings for real estate agents.
He was a member of the Marin County Real Estate Board, the Kiwanis Club, the Power Squadron, and the Marin County Square Dance Foundation.
Mr. Young was an avid skier, sailor and jogger. He also practiced yoga and jujitsu.
He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Rae Young of Sacramento.
A private burial service will be held.
The family prefers memorial contributions to Alcoholics Anonymous.
