Angelina Giovanini
Passed away peacefully at her home in Larkspur on August 28, 2002 at the age of 90. Born in Pittsburg, California on April 12, 1912, she lived in Larkspur for 55 years. With her husband Joe, they ran the Village Bake Shop -- first in Kentfield in the early 50's and then moved the shop to Larkspur across the street from the Masonic Lodge on Magnolia Avenue. She is survived by her beloved son Joe and her two sisters Katie Annello, Viola Lamonto, her brother Neno Cardinalli, granddaughter Angela and many relatives. She loved her garden and back yard. Up until July of this year, she was still tending her garden. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Hospice of Marin. A Funeral Mass will be held on September 4, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Sebastian Church, Kentfield. Viewing from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The Mortuary, and Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3. Viewing will also be held at St. Sebastian Church on September 4, 2002 at Noon.
