Ruth Musgrave Harper
Passed away peacefully at her home in San Francisco on April 14, 2002. Born December 16, 1902 in the Bank of England, she lived in the San Francisco area for 26 years. A hostess to Rhodes Scholars, and one of Australia's first women radio announcers, she traveled widely throughout her life. She spent many years as a docent at Grace Cathedral, and led several tours to the cathedrals of England. Predeceased by her son Nicholas Harper, her son-in-law LTC Justus Michael Molitor Lenschau, and her great granddaughter Isabella Valladares, she is survived by her sister Eleanor Karslake, of Devon England, her daughter Jane Lenschau, grandson James Lenschau, granddaughter Kate Valladares, great granddaughter-in-law Angie Lenschau, great granddaughter Alexandra Lenschau, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service on Friday, May 3rd is at 10 a.m. at Grace Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations in her name to Grace Cathedral.
