Louis L. Walsh, 67, Rites Set

Requiem Mass for Louis Lester Walsh, 67, of San Rafael, who was found dead near his summer ranch at Bridgeport, Mendocino County, yesterday, will be held at St. Aloylius Church, Point Arena tomorrow at 10 a.m.

Walsh, retired chief dentist at San Quentin, lived for the last 30 years at 1151 Mission Avenue, San Rafael. He acquired the ranch at Bridgeport 25 years ago and since his retirement two years ago he had divided his time between his home and the ranch.

His body was discovered by Mendocino County sheriff deputies. He apparently died of a heart attack.

Walsh graduated from the University of San Francisco in 1928. He began working at San Quentin in 1930.

He was a member of the California Dental Assn., the California Retirement Assn., the Rod and Gun Club and the Mendocino County Farm Bureau.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Walsh of San Rafael, a son, William David Walsh of Santa Rosa, and a brother, Dr. William F. Walsh of Elk, Mendocino County.

Graveside services will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael, at 3:15 p.m. tomorrow. Rosary is set for 8 p.m. tonight at Armsbee Funeral Home, Point Arena.
