Jack Clarence Watters, 62, of Mill Valley, club attendant at Las Gallinas Golf course and driving range in San Rafael for the past seven years, died yesterday at a local hospital following a heart attack.
Watters was admitted to the hospital at 7:20 a.m. and died at 12:10 p.m.
He was the husband of Florence K. Watters, ticket clerk at Greyhound depot in San Anselmo and ticket salesman at the box office of Sausalito’s Gate Theater.
Born in Norwalk, Ohio, Watters had lived 25 years in California and 22 years in Marin County, residing at 15 Locke Lane. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Las Gallinas Golf Club.
He is survived by his wife and by several brothers and sisters in the eastern United States.
Funeral will be held tomorrow at 1 p.m. at Russell and Gooch Mortuary, Mill Valley. Interment is pending.
