Oscar Schilling, a brakeman on the Northwestern Pacific Railway and a resident of San Rafael, died in St. Luke's Hospital, San Francisco, Tuesday night from injuries received that afternoon at Tiburon. Mr. Schilling fell under a moving train and had both legs crushed. He was rushed to the hospital where the limbs were amputated but he could not survive the shock.
Deceased was but 28 years of age and leaves a widow, Mrs. Edith Grace Schilling, and a little daughter, Roberta. He is also survived by a father and mother and two sisters and a brother. He was a member of Muir Lodge, No. 136 and Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
Funeral services were held yesterday morning in San Francisco under the auspices of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and interment made in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
