Patricia Irene McCartney
Passed away suddenly at her home after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. She was 57 years old. Born in Oakland, California, she was a longtime resident of Novato. Patricia attended Fremont High School and received her college education at BYU. She was an employee of Levi Strauss for 26 years as a promotional merchandise manager. Patricia had a natural love for all animals. She enjoyed working and spending time in her garden. Patricia is remembered most by her family members for her love and strong will. She will be in our hearts forever.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, James and their two daughters, Jaime and Erin. Her mother and father, Florence and Homer Cockrill and her brother, Bruce Cockrill also survive her.
Friends and family are invited for Visitation on Thursday, February 14th from 2 PM to 7 PM. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 15th at 2 PM at Keaton's Redwood Chapel, 1801 Novato Blvd., Novato. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, (510) 268-0572, or to your favorite charity.
