William Ernest McCoy III
Passed away in Mill Valley on Thursday, February 7, 2002. Bill was born in Oakland, California on July 2, 1946, and served in the U.S. Army in West Germany from 1964-68. Bill graduated from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1976, after which he practiced in Marin County for 25 years.
Bill leaves his wife Erma Murphy, and six sweet children: Eli, Mani, Isaac, Alia, Shireen and Eruch McCoy. He is also survived by his father, William E. McCoy Jr., and his sisters Donna Arseneau and Debra Musgrove. Bill's mother, Marguerite McCoy, and sister, Darlene Hart, preceded him in death. Bill McCoy will be deeply missed and remembered as a generous and humble host, together with his adored wife Erma, of many wonderful First Friday Music Jams.
Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of His Life on Sunday, February 17th at 3 p.m. at 279? Miller Avenue in Mill Valley. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations for his wife and children are greatly appreciated and may be made to The Murphy Family Fund, c/o Wells Fargo Bank, 18 Miller Avenue, Mill Valley, CA 94941.
