LILLIAN A. DOMERGUE
Once owned Surf Hotel
Lillian A. Domergue of San Rafael, the former owner of the Surf Hotel in San Francisco, died Friday, June 14, 1991, after suffering a heart attack. She was 80.
Mrs. Domergue was a native of Ukiah. She lived in Marin for 25 years.
She and her husband, Fernand E. Domergue, were owners of the Surf Hotel in San Francisco for 25 years. About 10 years ago they retired, and Mrs. Domergue moved to Smith Ranch Homes in San Rafael.
Mrs. Domergue was the recipient of the 20,000-hour award for volunteer service for the French Hospital Auxiliary.
She enjoyed playing bridge and attending the theater.
Mrs. Domergue is survived by several nieces and nephews. Her husband died in 1988.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. today at the Russian River District Cemetery in Ukiah.
A Death Notice in the same paper mentions her sisters-in-law, Georgette Domergue and Ann Hengeveld of Ukiah. Arrangements by McAvoy O’Hara Co., Geary Blvd. At 10th Ave., San Francisco.
