James George Little, 42, of 306 Olive Avenue, Novato, an employee of Pacific Gas and Electric Co. for the past 20 years, died yesterday in a local hospital after a long illness.
A native of San Francisco, he was a veteran of World War II. Serving as an electrician's mate on the battleship Maryland in the Pacific Theater. He had lived in Novato for the past year, working for PG&E in San Rafael. Prior to that he had worked for the company in Central California as a substation engineer.
He was a member of the Pacific Service Employees Association.
He is survived by his wife, Helen, and two sons, William James Little, both of the home, and Mack William Little of the U. S. Navy stationed in San Diego.
Military graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno.
The Redwood Chapel Funeral Home in Novato was in charge of the arrangements.
Memorial contributions to either the cancer or heart fund would be appreciated by the family.
