Death at Marshalls
After months of lingering, PANCIO BALENSUELLA died at his home Saturday at 2 o’clock p.m. He was one of the oldest Indians on Tomales Bay and probably the oldest of Marin as well. Balensuella was born in Santa Clara County 95 years ago, and has resided on the Tomales Bay for over 60 years. His life was mostly spent in digging clams and fishing. His death is keenly felt by his family and many comrades on this bay. His remains were interred today in the Catholic Cemetery of St. Ignatius the Apostle.
