BATTAGLIA, Josephine M. -- Passed away June 13, 2001 in San Rafael, CA aged 85 years. She was born Nov. 29, 1915 in San Jose, CA. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Novato and had served as President of All Hollows' Y.L.I. #182 in 1972 & 1973. She had worked for Bank of America for 15 years. Her sister-in-law Frances Piazza preceded her in death in April 2001. She is the sister of Sam 'RJ' Piazza of Novato, CA; sister-in-law of Mayme and Vic Baglio, and Mary Piazza of San Jose, CA; aunt of Marie and (Marvin) Pugh of Selah, WA, Jackie Liversedge of Sacramento, CA, Janine Piazza of San Jose, CA. Joe S. Piazza of Rohnert Park, CA, Joe A. Piazza of San Jose, CA, Joe (Marie) Mistretta of San Bruno, CA; great-aunt of Gilian Norman of San Jose, CA, Tony (Julie) & Dominic Piazza of Santa Rosa, CA, Jeff (Michele) Piazza of Fairfield, CA, Kevin Pugh of Seattle, WA, Deven (Heather) Piazza of Suisun City, CA, Seth & Mathew Smith of San Jose, CA, Joseph, James & Anna Marie Piazza all of San Jose, CA. Viewing will be Sat 1-4pm, Sun 10am-4pm, Mon. June 18, 9am-7:30 pm and the Vigil at 7:30pm all at Keaton's Redwood Chapel, 1801 Novato Blvd., in Novato. The Funeral Mass will be Tues. June 19, 10:00am at St. Anthony's Catholic Church 1000 Cambridge Ave. in Novato. The burial will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Colma.
