A memorial service for Richard J. Driggs of Novato, former county grand juror, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Russell and Gooch mortuary in Mill Valley.
Driggs, 62, died Thursday in Burlingame.
He was president of the Bel Marin Keys Homeowners’ Association and a member of the 1973 county grand jury.
Born in Manila, the Philippines, he came to the Bay Area at age 12.
Driggs was a sales representative for Dresser Industries Manufacturing Division until he retired in 1971.
Driggs and his wife, Margaret, had lived for four years in Bel Marin Keys where he was active in Novato community affairs. He was a member of the Commonwealth Club.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Jacqueline Cohen of Albany, N.Y.; his mother, Josephine Driggs of Oakland; two brothers, Ogden Driggs of Oakland and Donald Driggs of Fremont, and two grandchildren.
