Clarence Wright Buried Yesterday
Clarence Wright, one of the most active members in the San Anselmo fire department, died last Saturday. He entered it September, 1924, and since then grew to be one of the most beloved members in the crew of firefighters. He was treasurer of the department when he died.
The fire department conducted the funeral services yesterday afternoon at the parlors of Keaton & Dusel. Rev. Lynn White preached the funeral sermon. Wright was a member of Marin Lodge No. 191, F. and A. M. He was the son of Charles Wright, San Anselmo city councilman, and a member of a very prominent San Anselmo family. He is survived also by his wife, Mae Wright, and his mother, Florence Wright. He was a native of Pennsylvania, aged 27 years.
