Memorial services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Keatonís Chapel of Marin for Margaret R. Roggli, 57, who died Friday of burns she suffered Thursday when she dropped a match into a sling she was wearing because of a should injury.
Mrs. Roggli, 1076 Cambridge Street, sustained second and third degree burns over 40 per cent of her body.
She was treated at Novato Community Hospital and transferred to Letterman Hospital in San Francisco before being flown to the Brooks Army Medical Center in San Antonio, where she died.
Mrs. Roggli was born in Paducah, Ky., and grew up in Orlando, Fla., where her father, the late Loise Rose, was chief of detectives for many years. Her mother, Lakie Heater Rose, is also deceased.
Mrs. Roggli married in 1942 and was a Novato resident for 15 years.
She was a member of the Goodwill Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star in Falmouth, Mass.
She is survived by her husband, Jon W. Roggli; sons Kurt W. Roggli of Davis and John C. Roggli of Chico; a daughter, Katherine R. Hutchinson of Chico; and a stepmother, Marian A. Motley of Florida.
Inurnment will be at Bahia Valley Memorial Park.
