Mrs. Magnino, 88, of 71 Wilson Lane, died in a local hospital Sunday after a lengthy illness.
She was a native of Rock Springs, Wyo., and moved with her family to Italy when she was 7 years old. She lived there until she and her late husband, Giovanni, came to Southern Sonoma in 1950.
She is survived by two daughters, Teresa (Gina) Milani of Petaluma and Sister Ermelina Magnino, NSS, of Vicenza, Italy; a brother, Domenico Benvenuto of Italy, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A Rosary will be recited in Mrs. Magnino’s memory at 8 p.m. today at the Parent Funeral Chapel in Petaluma and entombment will be in Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, San Rafael.
The family prefers memorial gifts to the Hanna Boys Center of Sonoma or spiritual bouquets.
The California Death Index adds information: she was born August 22, 1886. Death was in Sonoma Co.
