BEHENNA Ė In Mill Valley, March 14, 1980, Barbara I. Behenna, dear mother of Denys W. Behenna of Mill Valley and Douglas L. Behenna of Ireland, loving aunt of John Behenna and Lynn Harvison. Also survived by three grandchildren. A native of New York. Aged 85 years. An active member of the Episcopal Church of Our Savior, Mill Valley.

Friends are invited to attend memorial services, Wednesday, March 19, 1980, at 2 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of Our Savior, 10 Old Mill Road, Mill Valley. Arrangements by Russell & Gooch Funeral Chapel, 270 Miller Ave., Mill Valley. Memorial gifts preferred to the Episcopal Church of Our Savior.

An obit in the March 18 paper adds that although born in New York, she was raised in Scotland, and later moved to Baltimore, Md., where she lived between 1932 and 1962. She worked as an electrician for the Glen Martin aircraft company in Baltimore during World War II, where she wired control panels for planes known as the Martin bombers. After the war she married Aubrey Behenna. In 1962, several years after his death, she moved to Mill Valley. He had been a purchasing agent for Revere Copper and Brass in Baltimore.

The CA Death Index adds that her fatherís surname was Sinclair and her motherís maiden name was Elmsley. She was born Jan. 20, 1895.
