MARGARET RAFFA

A Mass of Christian Burial for Margaret T. Raffa of Corte Madera will be said at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Saint Patrickís Church in Larkspur.

Mrs. Raffa, 59, died Thursday at a local hospital after a two-month illness.

A native of Massachussetts, she was a claims examiner for Firemanís Fund Insurance Cos. in Terra Linda. She had been transferred from the firmís San Francisco office.

She had lived in Marin for three or four years.

She is survived by a son, Rocco Raffa of Corte Madera; two daughters, Angela Lucaccini of Corte Madera and Mary Raffa of Berkeley; three sisters, Virginia Lamberti of Sherman Oaks, Violet Ramos of Newberry Park and Clara DeNucci of Midfield, Mass.; two brothers, George Porretta of Van Nuys and Al Porretta of Boston; and two grandchildren.

The rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Sunday at Russell and Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley. Burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael. The family prefers memorial gifts to the Hospice of Marin or the American Cancer Society.
