CHRISTINE M. MILLER
Funeral services will be held tomorrow for Christine M. Miller, president of the board of the German Language School in San Rafael, who died Tuesday of cancer at the age of 44.
A native of Ratibor, Germany (now Raciborz, Poland), Mrs. Miller came to the United States in 1966 and became a consultant for large firms doing business with Germany.
She earned bachelor degrees from St. Ansgar College in Hildesheim, Germany, and from Ursuline College in Cleveland. This year, she was awarded a masterís degree from Dominican College in San Rafael in international economics and political assessment in Pacific Basin studies.
Mrs. Miller was former treasurer of the International Institute of San Francisco and was a volunteer with the International Visitors Center of San Francisco.
She is survived by her husband, James A. Miller Jr., and two children, Marie and James III, all of San Anselmo, and by three sisters in West Germany, Theresia Henke of Adelebsen, Dorothea Freitag of Hildesheim and Elisabeth Willek of Bremerhaven.
Tomorrowís funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. at St. Johnís Episcopal Church in Ross, followed by a reception in the Dominican College presidentís dining room. Burial will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery.
Donations to the graduate programs in Pacific Basin studies, Dominican College, San Rafael, are preferred.
