A funeral for Robert W. (Bob) Shotwell of Novato, longtime Marin resident, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Mill Valley.
Shotwell, 44, died Friday at a local hospital after a long illness.
He was a native of Twin Falls, Idaho, and had lived in Marin for the past 38 years.
He owned the Shotwell Heating and Sheetmetal firm in Ignacio.
He was a member of the Sheetmetal Union Local No. 104.
He is survived by his wife, Jerrie, of Novato; two daughters, Melinda and Kimberly, both of Novato; his mother, Emma Shotwell of Sebastopol; three brothers, Fred and Bill Shotwell, both of Sebastopol, and Jim Shotwell of Santa Rosa; and a sister, Nancy, of Sebastopol.
The family prefers memorial gifts to Hospice of Marin, 77 Mark Drive, Suite 6, 94903.

A Death Notice in the same paper states that arrangements were under the direction of Russell & Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley.

An obituary was printed on March 31st in which it is stated that he was the son of the late J. Lee Shotwell and Emma Shotwell who survives. He was reared in Mill Valley and graduated from Tamalpais High School in 1953. He served with the Army on Eniwetok in the Marshall Islands from 1953 to 1955.
