ANTHONY DA ROS
Anthony Da Ros of Greenbrae, a Marin resident since 1973, died Sunday at a local hospital after a lengthy illness. He was 76.
Da Ros was born in Italy and came to this country when he was a youth. He lived in New York most of his life, working as a brick mason. He was a 50-year member of the Brick Layers, Masons and Plasterers Union in New York City.
After he retired, he moved to Marin County.
Surviving are his wife, Maria, of the family home; one daughter, Florence Kelly of Greenbrae; one son, John Edward Da Ros of New York, and one sister, Catherine Petri of New York.
The funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastianís Church in Greenbrae. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael.
The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Keatonís Mortuary in San Rafael.
