MARY A. BENTLEY
Mary A. Bentley of San Rafael, a Marin resident for the past four years, died Wednesday at a local hospital after a long illness. She was 67.
Mrs. Bentley was born in Denver, Colo., and attended school there. After marrying, she moved to Los Angeles and then to San Diego where she lived for about 11 years.
She returned to Denver from San Diego and then went to live in Houston. She moved to Sunnyvale several years ago and then to Marin.
She was a homemaker. Mrs. Bentley also was a member of the Mother of God Prayer Community.
She is survived by three sons, Robert Levstik of San Rafael, James Levstik of San Diego and Raymond Levstik of Illinois; four daughters, Geraldine Kimbell of Sunnyvale, Jean Sullivan of Huntington Beach, and Bernadette Menchaca and Bernadine Carlson, both of Houston; two brothers, Buster and Dick Funk, both of Denver; and 17 grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:30 a.m. at the Mission San Rafael Arcangel. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetry.
The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Keatonís Mortuary, San Rafael.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
