RUTH M. PINKERTON
Ruth M. Pinkerton of Tiburon, a homemaker, died Sunday in a local convalescent hospital after a long illness. She was 63.
Born in Seattle, she had lived in California 16 years and in Marin 10.
She was a member of the California Transcribers nd Educators of the visually Handicapped and the Alpha Phi Sorority of the University of Washington at Seattle.
Mrs. Pinkertonís husband of 42 years, Roy H. Pinkerton, retired a year ago as a director of Northern California operations of Ticor Mortgage Insurance Co. He currently serves as a consultant to the firm.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Pinkerton is survived by a daughter, Barbara Jean McMillan of Corvallis, Ore.; a son, Roy James Pinkerton of San Rafael; a brother, Kenneth Anderson of LaCanada, Los Angeles County; and three grandchildren.
At her request, no service is planned.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
