ELIZABETH E. STUTZ
A funeral service for Elizabeth Stutz of Napa, a former resident of San Anselmo, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Richard Pierce Funeral Service, Napa.
Private burial will be in Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno.
Mrs. Stutz, 84, died unexpectedly Saturday in a Napa hospital of a stroke.
She was born in Berkeley and raised in San Francisco and Marin. She and her late husband, John J. Stutz, former assistant county clerk for Marin, settled in San Anselmo when they were married in 1920. He died in 1957 and she moved to Napa last April.
She was a member of the Fairfax Women’s Club.
She is survived by a son, Berton Stutz of Napa, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Her family asked that memorial contributions go to the Napa Rotary Youth Scholarship Fund, c/o Stuart MacVitie, 2603 W. Pueblo Ave.
