MARGUERITE BARE

Marguerite Bare of Mill Valley died Friday at a local convalescent hospital following a lengthy illness.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Mill Valley Community Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Carew and English mortuary in San Francisco.

Another obit adds that she was born in Mississippi and had been a resident of Marin for many years. A homemaker, she was a member of Mill Valley chapter No. 219 of the Order of the Eastern Star and the El Marino chapter of the DAR. Survived by two sons, Joseph E. Bare of Mill Valley and William D. Bare of New York, and a daughter, Jean DuPertuis of Mill Valley; and a sister, Marie Van Gelder of Gulfport, Miss., and nine grandchildren. Burial at Golden Gate National Cemetery.

A Death Notice adds that she was the wife of the late Joseph E. Bare. Son William D. Bare was a resident of Fairport, N.Y.
