Paul Strahm, Local Business May, Dies; Funeral Saturday
Paul Strahm, 57, San Rafael photographer, succumbed Wednesday in a local hospital, following an illness from a heart ailment for the past eight months.
Mr. Strahm had build up a reputable photography business at 1326 Fourth street having come to San Rafael five years ago. Born in Switzerland he came to this country 30 years ago. Before coming to San Rafael the Strahms lived in Reno for about four years, and before that in San Francisco.
The deceased was the husband of Mrs. Marie Strahm and father of John and Robert Strahm, brother of John R. Strahm, who is now in Africa, and Margaret Walther, Mrs. Rose Weisterhins and Herma Strahm, all of Switzerland. He was an active member of the First Presbyterian church here and resided on Fifth street.
Funeral services for Mr. Strahm will be held Saturday, July 26th at 2 o’clock at Keaton’s Mortuary with interment at Chapel of the Chimes in Oakland.
