Mrs. Berri Of Marshall Dies In Hospital
Mrs. Angelina Berri, widow of the late Lindo Berri who operated the Berri dairy ranch near Marshall for about 50 years, died yesterday in a San Francisco hospital following a six months’ illness.
Mrs. Berri, who was active in club and lodge work, had lived at the 2,000-acre dairy ranch near Salmon Creek for the past 40 years. Her husband died in 1946. She was born in Switzerland 60 years ago.
She was a member of Morning Star Chapter No. 61 OES of Petaluma; Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem No. 48 of Petaluma; Ari Chapter No. 17 Daughters of the Nile, and the Nile Club of Santa Rosa.
Surviving her are four daughters, Mrs. Florinda Castiglioni of Petaluma, Mrs. Olga Palmini, Iva and Vernece Berri of San Francisco; two brothers, Ricardo Pifferi of Gonzales and Arnold Pifferi; a sister, Mrs. Anita Filippini of Santa Rosa; a grandson, William Palmini Jr. of San Francisco, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sorensen’s Funeral Home, 400 Washington street, Petaluma. Entombment will be in Cypress Hill cemetery, Petaluma.
