Floyd Estenson, 64, father of a Larkspur resident, was found dead in the relativeís bathtub last night, the coronerís office reported today.
Estenson, of Sarles, N.D., had been in Marin County two days visiting the daughter, Mrs. Kay Westerhoff at 44 Bayo Vista Avenue. The family said he had complained of chest pains and sleeping poorly, and was taking a bath about 10 p.m. when they heard his groans and investigated.
Mouth-to-mouth resuscitation was attempted by relatives, but failed to revive him. The coronerís office said there was no possibility of drowning. An autopsy was being performed at Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo.
A native of Minnesota, Estenson was retired after being an automobile dealer for 35 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Westerhoff, and Ruth Ann Johnson, El Centro, San Diego County; two sisters, Evelyn Paulson and Alma Jackson, and six brothers, Ben, Herman, Clayton, Clarence, Lester, and Wallace Estenson.
