Last Rites Slated For Ex-Manager Of Raphael Village
Funeral services for Marius Jensen, manager of Raphael Village until it was taken over by the Air Force a year ago, will be held at 8 o’clock tomorrow night at the Mission Ward chapel of the Latter-day Saints Church in San Francisco. Interment will be in Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
Jensen, 61, died Sunday night in Napa, where he made his home since retiring. He had been under a physician’s care for a heart condition.
Jensen and his wife, Alice, lived at 655 San Jose boulevard in Raphael Village until the housing development was sold. He then retired.
He was a resident of Marin County about eight years, having previously operated a grocery store in San Francisco for many years.
A native of Denmark, Jensen came to this country as a youngster and spent his youth in Salt Lake City, where he met his wife.
He was a member of the high council of the San Francisco Stake of the Latter-day Saints Church and also active in church work here and in Napa.
Survivors are his wife; a son, Dr. Jack M. Jensen, Napa dentist; two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Marie Poppe of Forest Knolls, Mrs. Anna Petersen of San Francisco and Joseph H. Jensen of San Anselmo, and three grandchildren.

Jensen of Napa, brother of Joseph Jensen of San Anselmo, Mrs. Marie Poppe of Forest Knolls, and Mrs. Anna Petersen, and grandfather of Keith Alan, Corinne Marcia, and Lynnette Marie Jensen; a native of Denmark; aged 61 years; a member of Napa ward, Church of Jesus Christ of L. D. S.
Funeral services Wednesday evening at 8:00 p.m. at the Mission Ward Chapel, L. D. S. Church, 37315 26th St. near Guerrero. Interment, Thursday, Mt. Tamalpais.
