Private funeral for Mrs. Edna M. Conkling, 92, a former Larkspur resident, will be held Thursday at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
Mrs. Conkling, a retired insurance agent, died Friday at a local convalescent hospital after a short illness.
Before entering the hospital four years ago, she had lived at 146 Madrone Avenue, Larkspur, for nine years.
Mrs. Conkling was the widow of F. W. Conkling, a Union Pacific Railroad employee in Denver, Colo. A native of Iowa, she had lived in Denver before moving to Marin.
Surviving are a son, Frank Conkling of Omaha, Neb.; six grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Redwoods Presbyterian Church in Larkspur.
A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the grandmother of Mrs. Dorothy Urquhart, Cathryn Shaw, Mary Humphreys, Bonnie Davis, Laura Lee Dunning and Robert F. Shaw. Arrangements in charge of Wilson and Kratzer Mortuaries, Richmond.
