Edward Frederick Abraham, 87, a retired merchant seaman, died at a Novato convalescent hospital yesterday after a long illness.
Abraham, who lived at 116 Harbor Drive, Black Point, died of natural causes, according to Deputy Coroner Richard W. Madigan. An autopsy was pending at Redwood Chapel Funeral Home in Novato.
Abraham had lived in Marin County for 22 years. He is survived by a daughter, Stella E. Harlan, of Boise, Idaho.
Funeral arrangements were incomplete today.
