Marin Resident 73 Years Dies
Mrs. Adelina Frizzi of Larkspur, a Marin County resident for 73 years, died yesterday at a local convalescent home after a year-long illness. She was 87.
Mrs. Frizzi lived with her daughter, Mrs. Elsie Rodriques at 155 Locust avenue, until entering the rest home last September. Besides her daughter, Mrs. Rodriques is survived by another daughter and a son, Mrs. Josephine Jensen of Sacramento and Victor G. Frizzi of San Rafael; a sister, Isolanda Nizzola of Switzerland, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A native of Switzerland, Mrs. Frizzi arrived in this country at the age of 15, coming immediately to Marin County to reside with an aunt in Nicasio.
Mrs. Frizzi was the widow of the late John Frizzi, proprietor of a bar and restaurant in Larkspur for many years before his death in 1941. They had resided in Bolinas and in Corte Madera prior to settling in Larkspur about 61 years ago.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Harry M. Williams mortuary, San Rafael. Recitation of the rosary will be at 8 p.m. tomorrow at the mortuary. Interment will be private.
A death notice in the same paper adds that she was also predeceased by a daughter, Frances Rom of Folsom.
