A memorial service is planned for 4 p.m. Sunday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in San Rafael for Harry Rollins.
Mr. Rollins, a longtime resident of San Rafael, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 1987, at Marin General Hospital. A native of California, he was 80.
During World War II, Mr. Rollins worked at the Mare Island Shipyard. He later went to work for Don Collins Buick in San Rafael. He was a member of the Teamsters union.
Mr. Rollins is survived by his daughter, Lucille Bauman of Edgewater, Fla.; his son, Roy Marks of Broderick, Yolo County; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. His wife, Rova Rollins, died earlier.
Donations may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 220 North San Pedro Rd., San Rafael.
