Frank J. Mushalik
Retired Navy veteran
A memorial service and celebration of Mass of retired Navy veteran Frank Joseph Mushalik of Novato will be today.
Mr. Mushalik died Sept. 15 at Kaiser hospital in San Rafael. He was 84.
He was born in Portland, Ore., in 1910.
Mr. Mushalik served in the U.S. Navy 27 years, retiring as a chief radioman.
He was a member of many organizations, including the Lloyd Andrews Hamilton Post of the American Legion, the Novato Elks Lodge, the Margaret Todd Senior Center and Sons in Retirement, all in Novato; and the Fleet Reserve Association in San Francisco. He was also a member of St. Michaelís Parish at Hamilton Field.
He is survived by two daughters, Kaye Mushalik and Lois Bell, both of San Jose; two grandsons and a granddaughter.
The memorial service and celebration of Mass will be 7 p.m. today at St. Michaelís, Hamilton Chapel, Hamilton Field, Novato.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Nova-Ro II Seniors Fund, 1130 Seventh St., Novato 94945.
