Real estate broker
Natalie Macievich of San Rafael, a Marin Realtor, died as a result of a heart ailment Jan. 11, She was 52.
Mrs. Macievich was born in Ravensburg, Germany and had lived in Santiago, Chile and New Jersey.
She graduated with a degree in chemistry from Rutgers University and worked as a research chemist in the pharmaceutical industry in New Jersey.
She moved with her family to Lucas Valley in 1979.
She became a real estate broker and worked in Marin about 15 years, most recently for Coldwell Banker. She received awards for her sales accomplishments.
Her hobbies included reading and home renovation. She loved traveling, hiking, dancing and hosting social events.
“She had a zest for life, a great love for her family and friends and always had a sparkle in her eye,” said her husband of 26 years, Alexander Macievich of San Rafael.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Macievich is survived by two sons, Alex Macievich of San Francisco and Michael Macievich of San Rafael; her mother, Marina Shelshoff of Ramsey, N.J.; her sister, Tatiana Moody of Brussels, Belgium; and two nephews in Brussels.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. tomorrow Friday 1/15 at St. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, 850 St. Olga Count, Santa Rosa.
