Longtime Marin physician
Dr. Donald L. Richardson of Kentfield died at Pine Ridge Care Center in San Rafael, Tuesday, Sept. 4, 1990, after a long illness. He was 71.
Dr. Richardson was born in Washington. He had lived in Marin County for 45 years, including Kentfield for the last 15 years.
He was an osteopath and surgeon in Marin, San Francisco and Santa Rosa for 40 years. He retired from his own practice 15 years ago.
Dr. Richardson was a member of the American Medical Association and was involved with Little League in Greenbrae and Kentfield.
He was an avid Bay Area sports fan.
He is survived by his son, Curtis Richardson of Novato; a daughter, Christine Frost of Carmel; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services are private.
Arrangements were handled by Daphne Fernwood Cemetery and Mortuary in Mill Valley.
