MAE E. MARTINONI
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mae E. Martinoni, a longtime Petaluma resident, will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Petaluma.
Mrs. Martinoni died Sunday at Crestview Convalescent Hospital, Petaluma, after a lengthy illness. She was 96.
A native of Point Arena, she moved with her family as a child to Switzerland and was reared there. She returned to the United States with her family at the age of 18 in 1904, settling in Petaluma.
Mrs. Martinoni had worked many years as a sales clerk for A. F. Tomasini Hardware and Rex Hardware in Petaluma.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church.
Her husband, Albert Martinoni, died in 1920. A son, Albert, had also died earlier.
She is survived by a brother, Charles Barboni of Petaluma, and many nieces and nephews.
Recitation of the rosary will be at 8 p.m. today at the Parent-Sorensen Mortuary, Petaluma. Burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma.
