Daily City Drives Killed In Tiburon Road Crash
Car Rolls 165 Feet Off Bank
A 25-year-old student from Daly City was fatally injured about 8:21 p.m. yesterday when his car plunged off Tiburon boulevard just east of Trestle Glen drive.
Marin coroner’s office said today that James Joseph McNeil apparently died from a broken neck and head injuries. He was thrown from the car, but apparently crushed him as it somersaulted.
A passenger in the car, Miss Deborah Sullivan, 18, San Francisco, suffered a cut on her neck and extensive scratches and bruises when she was thrown from the car. Her injuries were described as extensive but now serious by an attendant at Marin General Hospital. McNeil was dead on arrival at the hospital.
