Miss Jane Ryan Passes Away
The funeral of Miss Jane B. Ryan, who passed away last Sunday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Raymond H. Clarke, was held Tuesday morning.
The death of Miss Ryan was a distinct shock to the hosts of friends she had made and kept in San Rafael, where she had lived from birth. For a number of years she had been in charge of the clerical department of the telephone company here, and there are few people who did not know and admire her for her cheerful disposition and manner.
Death was due to heart trouble, traceable to a recent severe attack of influenza, from which she had nearly recovered.
She was the daughter of the late Martin and Catherine Ryan, and the sister of Kathryn E. and Annette V. Ryan, Mrs. H. St. Clair Boyd and Mrs. Raymond H. Clarke.
The funeral services were held at St. Raphael's church where a requiem mass was celebrated. The interment was private.
