KENNETH C. ADAMS,
A Novato husband and wife, Kenneth and Jeanne Adams, died within 24 hours of each other this week at Kaiser Hospital in Terra Linda.
Mr. Adams, an award-winning photographer, died Monday at the age of 61. His wife, 59, died Tuesday.
Mr. Adams, a San Rafael native, was a professional photographer and won the Christopher Award. He was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. Mrs. Adams was a native Californian.
They are survived by five daughters, Carol De La Montanya of Novato, Kathy Corbett of Washington, D.C., Debbie Woodruff of Sacramento, Kelly Adams of Honolulu and Kevin Adams of Novato; and seven grandchildren.
In addition to his children and grandchildren, Mr. Adams is survived by three brothers, Clifford, William and Monsignor Robert Adams. Mrs. Adams also is survived by a brother, Earl Kerr of Rohnert Park, and a sister, Lois Blum of San Mateo.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Adams will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Anthonyís Church in Novato. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday at Keatonís Chapel of Marin in Novato.
Burial for both will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael. The family prefers contributions to Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Rafael.
