Mildred H. Browne
There will be a visitation period for Mildred H. Browne of San Rafael from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Keatonís Mortuary in San Rafael. Mrs. Browne, who was 76, died Sunday, Jan. 1, 1989, at Marin General Hospital after a short illness.
She was born in Waco, Texas, and had lived in Marin almost 30 years.
She had belonged to the Robert E. Lee Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and the Alexander Houston Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, both in Houston.
Mrs. Browne is survived by her husband, John L. Browne; four brothers, Charles W., Maurice E., Lew and S. H. Easterwood, and a sister, Frances Easterwood, all of Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery in Houston.
A Paid Death Notice adds that she was the sister-in-law of LaVeria, Dorothy and Merlon Easterwood and Mary Browne.
