Mill Valleyan Dies On Vacation
Z. Shelley Brown, of Mill Valley, a U. S. Customs Service inspector, died Thursday in Livermore while en route with a friend to vacation in Yosemite,
Brown, who was 59, suffered a heart attack while at a restaurant.
He had resided at 19 Plaza Drive for the past 11 years with his mother, Mrs. Jennie Brown.
Brown had worked for about 30 years as a Customs Service inspector. The job took him all over the United States, including Hawaii. He was a native of Oregon and a member of the Masonic lodge.
Besides his mother, he is survived by a brother, Valentine Brown of Portland, Ore. and a sister, Mrs. Helen M. Savage of Salem, Ore.
Funeral arrangements are pending in San Francisco. Inurnment will be in the family mausoleum in Oregon. It has been asked that no flowers be sent.
