Thomas Jamieson Of San Rafael Dies
Thomas Jamieson, 67, of 311 Prospect drive, San Rafael, died yesterday in a local hospital after a short illness.
He retired only last year from the Pacific Gas and Electric Co. where he was a gas foreman. He was employed by the company for 34 years.
A native Californian, Jamieson spent most of his life in Marin. He was active in the Masonic order, belonging to the Marin Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons and the Marin Chapter of Royal Arch Masons. He was also a member of the Pacific Service Employees Assn.
He leaves a sister, Allie Jamieson, and a brother, David Jamieson, both of San Rafael.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Marin Lodge of Masons Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Harry M. Williams Mortuary, San Rafael. Interment will be at Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery.
A Death Notice in the same paper mentions that he was the husband of the late Grace Jamieson.
