Funeral Rites Set For Mrs. Cunnie
A Requiem Mass will be offered tomorrow for Mrs. Mary Anne Cunnie, mother of Mrs. James Bradley of San Rafael.
Mrs. Cunnie, 64, died Saturday of a heart ailment at a San Francisco hospital. The funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at St. Johnís Church, 19 St. Maryís avenue, San Francisco. Burial will be at Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno.
Mrs. Cunnie came to San Francisco in 1912 from her native Ireland. She is survived by her husband, James A. Cunnie, a San Francisco city playground director. She is survived also my Mrs. Bradley, who lives at 139 Humboldt street in San Rafael; another daughter, Mrs. Paul Cooney of South San Francisco; two sons, John Cunnie and James F. Cunnie, and seven grandchildren.
A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was called May; son John Leo Cunnie and daughter Mrs. Bernadette Cooney survived her. She was the grandmother of James F. Jr., Michael, Christopher and John M. Cunnie, Mary Ann Bradley, Steven and Nancy Cooney, and the sister of Stephen and Michael Wynne and Mrs. Celia Casgriff; she was a native of County Leitrim, Ireland. She was a member of the Ladies Sodality of St. Johnís Church, and Past President of St. Johnís Mothers Club.
