I've been going through my mother's items, (passed away in 1999 and grew up in Larkspur, Ca.) and researching some strange things I've come across, and I found a filled out request for a subscription to the magazine Redbook. The address used for a year's worth of magazines to be shipped was to an unknown persons, (names not disclosed, because they may still be living) C/O S.W.A.N.K. No appt. number, San Francisco, Ca. 95401. I thought that area code was for Santa Rosa, and am unable to figure out what this stands for. All I get is the "swanky" places to go in SF. The hand writing is childish, so it could be kids just playing around. If they WEREN'T though, where or what would this be? It would have to be dated between 1955-1970.
