San Francisco, January 6 – The steam schooner Iaqua, which went ashore on Duxbury reef, a few miles north of the Golden Gate, will be a total loss. Her one passenger and crew, 14 in number were taken off and the vessel was left to the mercy of the waves and rocks. Only one fatality attened the wreck John DALHSTROM, a sailor.
