PERSONAL- Jeremiah W. Sullivan, the
pioneer news dealer, of this city, died at his residence, in Chestnut street, on the
29th May. Mr. Sullivan was a native of
New York city, aged forty-seven years.
He leaves a widow and three children.

FUNERAL OF JERRY SULLIVAN- This old and
honored newsman, whose death has already been announced in the ALTA, was buried yesterday at
Lone Mountain, the funeral being attended from his late residence on Chestnut street. The Exempt Firemen, of which he was one, attended in large numbers. Deceased formerly belonged to the old Hook and Ladder Co Sansome, No. One. Rev. Dr. Eells conducted the funeral services. The pall bearers were members of the Exempt Association. The remains of Mr. Sullivan were interred in the lot of the "Exempts."
