"NUCKOLLS--In San Francisco, July 10, 1945, Olin F. NUCKOLLS, dearly beloved husband of Ethel J. NUCKOLLS of Redwood City, brother of Catherine YORK of Santa Cruz and E.M. NUCKOLLS of Turlock. A native of Mendocino County, aged 64 years. A member of Redwood City Commutors Club, Royal Neighbors of Woodcraft of Palo Alto, The Forresters of American court Madrone 158 and Redwood parlor 56 Native Sons of the Golden West. Friends are invited to attend Funeral services Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Franklin & Crowe Mortuary Chapel, 926 Middlefield Rd. Interment Alta Mesa Cemetery." "NUDD--WILL of ASA NUDD -- The will of Asa NUDD has been filed for probate in San Francisco. The estate is valued at $100,000. The testor bequeaths to his sister, Mary Ann BARTLETT, the house, lot and furniture of Oak Grove avenue; to his sister, Sarah P. NUDD, 2 houses and lots on Park avenue; to his cousin, Edward F. PARKER, $5,000 and his gold watch, and to his sister, Mary Ann BARTLETT, Miranda NUDD and Sarah P. NUDD, the remainder of the estate." "NUGALA--BY STATE TELEGRAPH, San Francisco, Sept. 25th -- Jose NUGALA suffered the extreme penalty of the law at Santa Cruz on Wednesday, the 19th inst., for the murder of Frank WILLIAMS at Watsonville." Source: Stockton Daily Independent, 26 Sept 1866. Transcribed by Dee.
"NUGENT--In this city, October 22, Rev. Dennis NUGENT, rector of St. Rose's Church, brother of Rev. John NUGENT of St. Brendan's Church, Miss Maggie NUGENT and Mrs. Katie MOYNIHAN, a native of County Armagh, Ireland, aged 63 years. The funeral will take place Saturday, October 24, from St. Rose's Church where a solemn requiem high mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul, commencing at 10 o'clock. "NURSE--The 'Golden Gate' was burned to the water's edge near Manzanillo, on July 27th. She sailed from San Francisco, July 21st and had on board, when she left, 232 passengers, and a crew of 96. NUTCHER, mother of William and Edwin NUTCHER, daughter of Mrs. Wesley GILROY, sister of Mrs. Wilfred KENNEDY and Edwin GILROY, and niece of William ALLINGHAM, a native of Petrolis, Ontario, Canada, aged 35 years and 7 months. Friends and acquaintances are respectully invited to attend the funeral Tuesday, March 26, at 2 o'clock, from her late residence, 211 Brighton avenue, Ingleside. Interment, private."
