Lawrence Clark

Funeral for Lawrence E. Clark, 40, former San Rafael resident, will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Eggen and Lance Mortuary, 1540 Mendocino Avenue, Santa Rosa.

Clark collapsed Monday at the Montgomery Ward store at the Corte Madera Shopping Center while at work as a serviceman for National Cash Register.

He was a native of French Camp, San Joaquin County, and lived in San Rafael eight years before moving to Petaluma. He lived at 1287 McGregor Drive.

Clark was a member of the Independent Order of Foresters in San Rafael and the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia I. Clark; two sons, Derek E. and Matt E. Clark of Petaluma; a brother, Gary R. Clark of Petaluma; and a half-brother, Orland Burks of Modesto.

Private burial will be at Santa Rosa Memorial Park.

A Death Notice in the same paper expands the names:
Lawrence Edward Clark, his wife “Ginger”, and half-brother, Orland “Rick” Clark Burks. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
